Dr. Praveen Kumar Dixit

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Pharmacy, KIET deemed to be University, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad. He is Dynamic, Versatile, Quick Learner,adaptable and competent Faculty having 14+ years of teaching and research experience. He is currently holding the position of Assistant Head- Department Skill Development Cell (DSDC)-KSOP and Officer-In-charge Student Support Cell for Pharmacy Council of India in KSOP. Published 51 papers in Journal of Repute, Authored 9 Books and 11 book chapters and 10 patents so far.He has received fund of 88000/-INR from AKTU to organize state level Faculty Development Programme. He is Life member of Various Professional Bodies i.e-APTI,IPES,IPS,IPGA. Dr Dixit has been Awarded with Young Dronacharya Award, Teaching Excellence Award, Dynamic Pharma Professional Award. He is recipient of Best Faculty Incentive in session 2016-17 and 2020-21,2021-22,2022-23 for outstanding contribution in Department growth. He is recipient of the Young Scientist Award-2021 by a renowned Pharmacy Professional Body-Indian Pharma Educational Society (IPES). He has guided 24 PG and 30 UG students projects so far and guiding 6 PhD candidates. Dr. Dixit is an active core team member in various inspection bodies i.e-NAAC/NBA/PCI etc. He has attended 30+ FDPs, 35+ conferences and 20+ training programme. For Institutional visibility and growth, he has organized 3 national conferences,2 International conferences,20 Invited guest talks,25+ Alumni Talks,4 SDPs,4 FDPs in the department as coordinator and Joint organizing Secretary. He has expertise in teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology,Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pathophysiology. He is Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics subject expert in Pharmacy department for teaching Value Education (trained up to II level).He strongly believes that students must have professional competency but ethical values are the base of everything. He has trained in CSIR-CDRI for Animal Handling and operating many sophisticated experimental instruments.His area of research is neuropharmacology, metabolic disorders and musculoskeletal disorders.
